France- Spain update - Weather conditions in South of France

UPDATE: 21st November

All regular international France-Spain trains will run as planned from the 24th November. 


Rail Europe would like to advise that due to violent storms that have battered the Occitanie region on October 23rd, railway facilities were severely damaged causing major consequences.

Traffic between Narbonne and Beziers is suspended until further notice.
SNCF technical teams are hard at work doing everything possible to restore the situation to normality and return to operating as soon as possible.

All France - Spain TGVs are cancelled until December 2nd
France - Spain TGVs sales are closed until December 2nd
Sales for trains between Paris and Montpellier are opened.

From November 9th to November 24th, special trains will run in order to facilitate the reassignment of travellers with valid tickets on below itinerary and ONLY these ones:

Paris to Barcelona: 10h07AM
Barcelona to Paris: 09:25AM
Beziers/Narbonne/Narbonne to Barcelona

If you are affected by the storms and not able to travel please ensure your tickets are endorsed and stamped 'unused' at the train station and returned to Rail Europe within 60 days of the travel date.
