No international trains to Greece!

International Greece Trains currently Suspended.

Travel by train to and from Greece has been currently suspended. TRAINOSE, the Greek national railway company, announced that all international trains to Greece will be suspended temporarily.

Some domestic services may also be impacted.

Even though International trains are suspended, there are still lots of possibilties to reach Greece by boat. You can use your Eurail Select or Global Pass, or your Greece/Italy Pass on a number of ferrries running between Italy and Greece.
