Conditions

• The following items are not included in the cost of the tour: airfares or meals unless specified, excess baggage, laundry, telephone, gratuities, passports, visas, vaccinations, personal and accident insurance and items of personal nature.
• A non-refundable Security Deposit of $400 per person is required to confirm your booking.
• Full payment is required at least 65 days prior to departure date. If your balance is not received Rail Plus withholds the right to cancel the booking. Appropriate cancellation charges will apply.
• Late Bookings made within 65 days of departure require full payment at time of confirmation. Such payment will then be subject to normal cancellation conditions should cancellation occur.
• We also recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance to cover (as a minimum) the costs incurred if you cancel your trip.
  
  ACCOMMODATION:
  
• Accommodation is "run of the house" standard room with bath, unless otherwise indicated or selected by specific category. Rooms vary according to size and location within a property with the assignment made by hotel management; we have no control over the room received. If the requested hotel is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute hotel accommodation of a similar grade which will be advised to you at time of booking. If you have a specific request, we will ensure this is communicated to the hotel management; however, we are unable to guarantee compliance of your request. All triple and quad rooms are on a bed-share basis. Rooms for twin/double occupancy may be assigned either two beds or one bed.
• Twin (Double) Room Rates: Based on two people sharing with either one or two beds in a room. Twin bedded rooms can consist of either two single beds or two double or queen beds. Double-bedded rooms can consist of one double, one queen or one king bed.
• Triple Room Rates: Based on three people sharing existing two beds in a room. At some hotels a third bed (rollaway cot) is available, at an additional cost payable directly to the hotel.
  
  Please note that some of our deluxe hotels are heritage properties which possess historical elegance, but they may not reflect current deluxe hotel standard.

Refunds

CANCELLATION FEES:

• Canadian GST: the GST charge of is non-refundable.
• Prior to final payment: there will be no refund of your security deposit.
• After final payment: there will be no refund of your security deposit plus additional fees charged by ground operators and hotels.
