Thalys

Train features:

• The Thalys trains carry eight cars offering 377 seats (754 when two trains coupled). All trains are non smoking.
• A large choice of newspapers and magazines to buy at the bar
• A bar and food counter, open for the duration of the journey, with a variety of food and refreshments to enjoy in the bar car: breakfast formula, meals, warm and cold dishes, sandwiches, dessert, warm and cold beverages
• Refurbished interior and spacious seating: broader and comfortable seat cushions
• Every ergonomic seat is reclining with comfortable headrest and footrest

First class (COMFORT 1)

• 120 comfortable seats.
• Wi-Fi connection free of charge.
• Meal included and served at your seat everyday based on train departure time.
• Breakfast from 6:00am to 9:00am. Meal including beverage, croissants, cheese or cooked meats, fruit salad or Yoghurt
• Snack from 9:00am to 11:45am, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and later than 9:00pm. Meal including beverage, sandwiches, cakes and fruit
• Lunch from 11:45am to 2:00pm Meal including choice of drinks, cold starter and mixed platter, bread and dessert
• Dinner from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Meal including choice of drinks, cold starter and mixed platter, bread and dessert
• Free newspapers available from Monday to Saturday on all the routes (except on Antwerp -Brussels, Oostende - Brussels and Liege - Brussels in the trains from Antwerp, Ostende and Liege).
• Sockets for laptop or mobile phone available on carriages 2/12/22 and 3/13/23.
• "Welcome drink" offered with a mini sandwich on the route Brussels - Amsterdam, in both ways.
• Seats in Comfort 1 are larger than in Comfort 2 and recline electronically.
• Taxi reservation on board, on trains arriving in Paris or Brussels: available weekdays with the catering staff. Bookings must be done at least 30 minutes prior to arrival. Upon arrival, a chauffeur will meet the passenger at the Thalys meeting point. Taxi fare is at client's own expense. An additional surcharge up to 15€ will be applied to the taxi's invoice.

"Le Salon" ( New 2011)

Allows 4 people to seat together, in a privatised compartment.This new space is available in Comfort 1 only (1st Class).With free wifi onboard and complimentary meals and drinks served at seat this is the perfect way to travel in a group.

Second class (COMFORT 2)

• Comfortable, reclining seats;
• On-board WiFi* access. Access to the ThalysNet portal and Thalys site is free. Internet access is available for a fee in Comfort 2,
• Family compartment, providing seats that are set apart from the rest of the carriage. Your children have a table on which they can securely set up their games, draw, and eat a snack;
• A baby-changing area, with a table, sink, and bottle-heater, so all your little ones are taken care of.
