The high-speed TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) trains connect over 150 cities and towns in France. Since 1981, TGV has proudly served these cities in France and neighbouring Switzerland. Holding the world speed record at 320 mph, you waste no time in getting to your destination such as Paris to Bordeaux in only 3 hours. For 20 years it has regularly linked more than 150 destinations in France and Europe safely, quickly and comfortably. The TGV is the cornerstone of the European high-speed rail network connecting France to London, Brussels, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Turin, Milan, and more.

You can get from Paris to the chateaus of the Loire Valley in Tours or to Reims in the Champagne Region of France. All these destinations and many more are a breeze when travelling around France on the TGV.
