Elipsos Hotel Train

Also know as the Talgo Night, these hotel trains give a new dimension to travel. Overnight journeys through Spain, France, Switzerland and Italy are a breeze on Train Hotel Elipsos. Take the Francisco de Goya from Paris to Madrid, the Joan Miro from Paris to Barcelona, the Pau Casals from Barcelona to Zurich or the Salvador Dali from Barcelona to Milan.

Train Hotel Elipsos trains are comfortable hotel trains that are designed especially for night travel. There is a range of accommodation types to suit every traveler's needs, from "Gran Class" Sleepers offering cabins with a wash basin and shower to a "Sleeperette" reclining seat. Reservations are compulsory. Eurail Passholders are welcome to travel in any sleeper regardless of the class of travel on their pass, however a supplement is required. There is a restaurant onboard as well as a snack bar where you can grab a bite to eat and a drink.

Passholder Fares explained:

There is only 1 type of Passholder fare available for the Elipsos. This are defined below:

• Passholder fares are available for passengers carrying Eurail Global Pass / Eurail Spain Pass / Eurail Portugal - Spain Pass / France Railpass / Eurail France-Spain Pass / Eurail France-Italy Pass / Eurail Italy-Spain / Eurail France-Switzerland Pass / Eurail Greece-Italy Pass (valid only on Barcelona-Milan route) / Eurail Italy Pass (valid only from Milano to Barcelona) / Eurail Selectpass covering at least one country on the route / Swiss Pass, Swiss Flexipass (valid only on Barcelona-Zurich)
• Passengers can purchase any accommodation regardless the class of their pass.

On board Restaurant:

• Restaurant is open until 2:00am for dinner and re-opens at 6pm.
• Breakfast delivery is available for Gran Class and Preference Class travellers.
• The bar-cafeteria car is opened until 2:00 am for dinner and re-opens at 6pm
• Snacks and drinks are available for purchase from the food and refreshments trolley before 1:00 am.
