City Night Line

The CityNight Line operates on a high-speed route between Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Travelling on this train is a breeze as you pass through such prominent cities as Zurich, Vienna, Hamburg, Hannover, Dresden and Berlin. Passengers can choose from a variety of accommodations as they spend an enjoyable and memorable evening on this night train. Numerous on-board services are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible

Passholder Fare explained:

There are 2 types of Passholder fares available for the City Night Line. They are defined below:

• Passholder 1 fares are valid for passengers carrying a pass covering the whole route
• Passholder 2 fares are valid for passengers carrying a pass covering partial route, at least one of the countries travelled through
• Customers are not allowed to purchase a 1st class Passholder fare with a 2nd class pass.
• First class pass is required for Deluxe Sleepers.

The CityNight Line can be reserved 90 days prior to the train departure date.
