Glacier Express

Can I use a Rail Pass to go on the Glacier Express?

Yes you can, but you require a compulsory seat reservation and depending on the Rail Pass, there is also a rail supplement for the Private Line that the Glacier Express runs on.

The following Passes include the Private Line, and only require a seat reservation.

• Swiss Flexi Pass
• Swiss Consecutive Pass

The following Passes do NOT include the Private Line which will need to be purchased as well as a seat reservation.

• Eurail Consecutive Pass
• Eurail Flexi Pass
• Eurail Select Pass (must include Switzerland).
• Eurail Germany - Switzerland Pass
• Eurail France - Switzerland Pass
• Eurail Austria - Switzerland Pass

Holders of these passes are entitled to a 25% reduction on the Private Line suppliment on the Disentis-Zermatt section which are available under National Pass section.

Can meals be purchased onboard?

Yes they can be. Meals can be purchased from the onboard menu which is located at your tables.

Meals are served between 11.00am and 1.30pm.

Payment can be made with cash or credit card.
