Eurail Select Pass

Conditions

• Residents of Europe, the United Kingdom, Turkey and the Russian Federation are not eligible to purchase or use a Eurail Select Pass.
• If you have been working/residing or traveling in Europe for 6 months or more you are not eligible to travel with a Eurail Pass.
• Countries do not have to be travelled to in the same order as they appear on the pass. It is not compulsory to travel to all countries listed on your rail pass and you may also travel to a country more than once. EG. If the pass is valid in France, Italy & Switzerland the passenger can travel from France to Italy then back to France if they wish.
• All parties must be present when validating a Eurail Select Saver Pass
• Certain trains may transit through a country not covered by the pass. In that case an additional ticket must be purchased.
• Passholder fares for Premier trains are not applicable if the train is transiting through a country not covered by the Eurail Select Pass.
• Passes must be validated prior to first train journey or first use of a travel bonus.
• Passes must be validated within 6 months of issue date.
• Seat reservation fees are an additional charge and are not inclusive in the cost of the pass.
• What is the 7pm rule?
  - If your train departs before 19.00 hrs (7 pm), you need to use two travel days
  - If you are travelling on a direct night train (with no connections or layovers) that departs after 19.00 hrs (7 pm) and arrives after 04.00 hrs (4 am), you only need to use one day - the day of arrival.
  Please note: your Pass must be valid on the day of departure and arrival.

Refunds

• Passes must be presented for refund unused and not validated.
• A 25% cancellation fee plus GST (only in Australia) applies to totally unused passes returned within one year of issuing date.
• No partial refunds.
• Eurail Select Passes cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.
